The MATCH PCM Certification course is an integrated, systematic and comprehensive framework that provides you with the skills needed to help people effectively and proactively manage their career. With the MATCH PCM, we teach you to go beyond the assessment phase to help people align themselves in the right roles, increase performance, and chart a career course with confidence. The MATCH PCM provides you with the knowledge, a step-by-step process, and all of the tools you need to achieve results with your clients.

Our sequential MATCH PCM process—Magnify, Align, Target, Create, and Harness—provides a road map for you and the client so that you know exactly where you are in the career development process. Each step builds on itself. The MATCH PCM course enables you to: 

• Magnify the talents and capabilities of your clients

• Align your clients' talent profile with ideal career opportunities

• Target specific learning experiences to learn new competencies and skills

• Create unique branding campaigns for use during the job search process  

• Harness your network to help clients achieve results 

You are on your way to gaining foundational career management competencies and a robust system to help your clients envision, plan, navigate, and execute strategies to secure new job opportunities, achieve career advancement, enable lateral moves, experience industry changes, and complete transformations. Upon completion of the MATCH PCM course, you will be able to:  

• Develop winning strategies tailored to various career transition paths

• Use the MATCH Career Management System®, a structured approach to facilitate career change

• Select, administer, integrate, and interpret assessments to unique career profiles

• Identify, organize, and synthesize resources to assist people in career decision making

• Develop, plan, and evaluate programs that address individual and group career goals

• Implement job search and branding strategies to secure, create, and maintain work

• Learn how to use technology in the remote career coaching and counseling process

• Understand how ethics and best practices lead to long-term success

At the end of the course, you will be qualified to take the PCM Certification Examination. Upon passing the examination with an 80% or higher score, and submitting your required case file, you will be entitled to use the PCM credential after your name.  

The MATCH PCM course is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11–2:30 p.m. CST.

To receive the student materials prior to start of the course, you must register seven days prior to the class start date. If you register after this date, you must use the electronic materials until you receive hard copy materials in the mail.
